Always make sure to read the Handbook so you know exactly what to expect, and how your character will fit with the setting and story. If parts of the Handbook are unclear to you, do not hesitate to ask a member of the Staff to help you out the best he/she can. Be sure not to overlook the Handbook -- especially if you want to get your character application in and approved.

If the Staff feel as though you've done a good job, your character application will be approved, and you'll be set up for role-playing in the in-character area. If not, you'll be asked to edit certain things, or if you've been careless, create an entirely different character.
